CBD Hemp Oil From GoGreen Hemp Florida - The "Hot Spot" For Everything CBD

The "Sunshine State" is the hot bed for everything CBD, with the majority of industry leaders having headquarters in Florida. This state is considered to be at the forefront of CBD. Florida has created legislation to encourage the use of CBD and hemp in various industries. Industrial hemp is the plant that CBD is derived from. GoGreen Hemp offers the convenience of shopping from the comfort of your home with the purest CBD products on the marketplace. We have the most diverse product line on the market from CBD Oil Tinctures to CBD Animal Products

Is CBD Hemp Oil Legal In Florida

In 2014 President Barack Obama signed the Farm Bill, allowing for cultivation of industrial hemp to flourish in the United States. This bill allowed the sale of hemp-derived products containing less than .3% THC, like CBD, across the nation. CBD is now available over-the-counter in retail stores and online markets throughout the Sunshine State and beyond.

In June 2017, Florida passed Senate Bill 1726. This bill allows for Florida to launch “industrial Hemp Pilot Projects.” As Florida continues to pass legislation encouraging the use of hemp, Senator Bill Nelson has been an activist for the medical benefits that CBD and medical marijuana has. Within the last two years, dispensaries have been opening up throughout the state. This is a clear sign that the industry is evolving and eventually Florida will be  be recreationally legal.

A Brief History of Industrial Hemp: The Resurrection

Hemp was first used in North America in 1606. The Declaration of Independence, one of the single most important documents in American history was written on hemp paper. Although hemp was a big part of early US history, it took a turn for the worse in the early 1900's, when the government grouped hemp with marijuana, its cannabis cousin. Hemp was grouped into the Marijuana Tax Act of 1937 and production exponentially decreased, and was eventually cultivation was officially banned in 1970 with the Controlled Substance Act.

Hemp was used in the production of various textile products because of its great tensile strength and durability. Now that hemp is fully legal again in Florida, you can expect a renewal of the hemp trade which will bring economic and agricultural benefits back to the Sunshine State.

Modern Interest In Industrial Hemp Research

Six months after the 2018 Farm Bill, Florida passed Senate Bill 1020 which established an agricultural Hemp Program in Florida. SB 1020 has the potential to jumpstart the state's struggling agricultural industry, and create new markets for CBD products and various other hemp products from clothing to animal feeding. Under SB 1020 hemp extracts are considered a substance or compound intended for ingestion that is derived from hemp, and must not contain THC concentration exceeding .3% on a dry weight bases.

The Endocannabinoid System

Cannabinoids like CBD derived from hemp interact with receptors throughout our bodies, as well as other mammals. Our bodies also naturally produce endocannabinoid. These collectively make up our natural endocannabinoid system (ECS).

The endocannabinoid system is responsible for maintaining homeostasis throughout our body, typically when there is an imbalance, issues can occur throughout the brain, digestive tract, and immune system. Over the past five years the endocannabinoid system has sparked wide interest in the medical community. The endocannabinoid system can be compared to a car. You have various parts of the car that are needed for it to function in conjunction. All performing necessary function to run smooth.

Connecting these various parts of the car are screws and bolts. Without these screws and bolts the car would not function, no matter how impressive the engine or exterior may look. These screws and bolts are essential for the car to function and reach its maximum potential.

In our bodies, the endocannabinoid system is comparable to the nuts and bolts that hold the rest of our body in a delicate balance of homeostasis. CBD can be compared to the "washer" that goes in between the screw and the bolt in order for the endocannabinoid system to function at its maximum potential.

*The legal landscape around CBD is unclear and always changing both at the Federal and State level. Federally, the 2018 Farm bill legalized industrial hemp and its derivatives, including CBD, however, the bill specifically provided that States may have more restrictive legislation so we urge you to check with local law enforcement as well if you have any doubts.

It is important to understand that, generally, the law is more favorable towards CBD produced from hemp than from marijuana and GoGreen Hemp products are produced exclusively from hemp. Also GoGreen Hemp products contain no THC and can be scanned with a QR code on the side of the container.
