CBD Topical Creams

Apply CBD exactly where you want it. Our USDA Organic topicals — balm salves, relief sticks, cooling roll-ons, massage oils, and lip balm — are made with simple, natural ingredients and strengths from everyday 500mg up to extra-strength 4000mg. Every batch is third-party lab tested, THC-free, and backed by our 30-day guarantee.

Every product in our topical line is USDA Organic certified through Baystate Organic Certifiers. Here's what USDA Organic certification actually means for your skin — and why it's so rare in the CBD industry.

Which CBD Topical Is Right for You?

How CBD Topicals Work

Unlike gummies or oils, topicals aren't ingested — you apply them directly to skin, where CBD interacts with receptors locally rather than entering your system the way edibles do. That makes topicals the most targeted format in our lineup: the effects stay where you put them. It also means they're easy to layer into a routine — many customers use a tincture or gummy daily and keep a topical on hand for specific spots. Pick the strength based on the area and frequency: smaller, occasional areas suit our 500mg balm; larger areas and frequent use suit the 2000–4000mg range.

How to Apply CBD Topicals

Clean and dry the area, then apply a thin layer and massage in until absorbed. Start with a small amount — you can always add more — and reapply as needed throughout the day. Wash your hands after applying (especially with the menthol roll-on), avoid broken skin, eyes, and other sensitive areas, and patch-test on a small spot first if you have sensitive skin. For massage oil, warm a small amount between your palms before applying.

CBD Topicals FAQ

How do CBD topicals work?

Topicals are applied directly to skin, where CBD interacts with receptors locally instead of entering your system like an edible. The effect is targeted to where you apply it.

Will a CBD topical show up on a drug test?

Topicals are the lowest-risk format: applied to intact skin, CBD topicals generally don't reach the bloodstream in meaningful amounts, and ours are THC-free (0.0% THC) on top of that. As with all our products, lab results for your batch are published on our Lab Results page.

How often can I apply CBD topicals?

As needed — most customers apply 1–3 times daily. Start with a thin layer and adjust based on how your skin responds.

What's the difference between the balm, stick, and roll-on?

Same idea, different delivery: the balm is a jar you apply by hand (most strength options), the stick glides on hands-free like deodorant (best for travel and gym bags), and the roll-on adds menthol for a cooling sensation (the post-workout pick).

What does CBG add to the CBG + CBD balm?

CBG is another non-intoxicating hemp cannabinoid, often called the "mother cannabinoid." Pairing it with CBD puts two cannabinoids in one balm — and the unscented formula suits anyone sensitive to fragrance. Learn more in our What is CBG? guide.

Are your topicals really USDA Organic?

Yes — our topicals line carries genuine USDA Organic certification, which requires certified-organic ingredients and audited processes. It's one of the things that sets our topicals apart in the CBD market.

Can I use the massage oil for regular massage?

Absolutely — it's formulated for full-body massage, and it's nut-free and fragrance-free, which matters for sensitive skin and professional settings. Massage therapists can order the 1-gallon bulk size.

Where shouldn't I apply CBD topicals?

Avoid broken or irritated skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. If you have a skin condition or are unsure, check with your doctor first — and patch-test any new product on a small area.
