CBD Balm Salve | Calming Purple Terpene Blend | 500mg–1000mg | THC-Free
Put CBD exactly where you want it with our CBD Balm Salve in Calming Purple. Instead of strong essential oils, this balm uses a proprietary terpene blend with a soft, subtle scent, paired with broad spectrum, THC-free CBD in a beeswax and MCT oil base that stays on your skin instead of evaporating like a cream.
Calming Purple comes in 500mg and 1000mg strengths, in 1oz or 4oz jars. Looking for our USDA Organic certified balm or a higher strength? See our Eucalyptus & Lavender CBD Balm, available up to 4000mg.

What's Inside Calming Purple CBD Balm
A short ingredient list with nothing synthetic: Organic Beeswax, Organic MCT Oil, CBD Hemp Extract, and Proprietary Terpenes.
Active Cannabinoid
- Broad Spectrum CBD Hemp Extract — THC-free CBD with naturally occurring hemp compounds
Base
- Beeswax — Forms a protective layer that holds CBD on the skin and locks in moisture
- MCT Oil (Coconut-Derived) — A lightweight carrier that helps the balm spread and absorb without feeling greasy
Scent: Calming Purple
- Proprietary Terpene Blend — Naturally derived terpenes with a subtle, relaxing scent, ideal if strong essential oils are too much
What's NOT Inside
- No THC (0.0%)
- No artificial fragrances
- No parabens or sulfates
- No petroleum or mineral oil
- No artificial colors
Why Choose Calming Purple CBD Balm
A Softer Scent
Many topicals lean on strong menthol or essential oils. Calming Purple uses a terpene blend with a much milder aroma, so it's a good fit if you're sensitive to scents or want to wear it all day.
A Balm That Stays Put
Water-based creams absorb and evaporate quickly. Our beeswax base melts on contact with warm skin and then forms a thin protective layer, so the CBD stays where you applied it instead of disappearing in minutes.
Broad Spectrum, Zero THC
The balm contains CBD plus other naturally occurring hemp compounds, with THC removed to 0.0%. Topical CBD also stays local to where you apply it, so there's nothing intoxicating about it.

Calming Purple CBD Balm FAQs
Is Calming Purple CBD balm USDA Organic?
No. Calming Purple is not USDA Organic certified. If certified organic matters to you, choose our Eucalyptus & Lavender CBD Balm, which is USDA Organic certified through Baystate Organic Certifiers.
What does Calming Purple smell like?
It has a soft, subtle scent from a proprietary blend of naturally derived terpenes. It's much milder than our Eucalyptus & Lavender balm, which uses essential oils.
Which strength should I choose?
Start with 500mg if you're new to CBD topicals or covering small areas. Choose 1000mg if you've used CBD topicals before or want more CBD in each scoop. For higher strengths up to 4000mg, see our Eucalyptus & Lavender balm.
What's the difference between a CBD balm and a CBD cream?
Balms use a beeswax base, so they're thicker and stay on the skin longer. Creams are water-based and absorb faster but don't leave the same lasting layer. A balm is the better pick when you want CBD to stay on one area.
Will CBD balm make me feel high?
No. The balm contains 0.0% THC, and topical CBD stays local to where you apply it, so there's no intoxicating effect.
Will CBD balm show up on a drug test?
Topicals are the lowest-risk CBD format. Applied to intact skin, CBD balm generally doesn't reach the bloodstream in meaningful amounts, and ours is THC-free on top of that. Batch results are on our Lab Results page.
How often can I apply CBD balm?
As often as you like. Most people apply 2–3 times a day, but there's no set limit for topical use.
Why is the balm hard? Is something wrong?
No, that's normal. Beeswax balms are firm at room temperature. Warm a small amount between your fingertips and it softens right away. In hot weather it may soften in the jar, which doesn't affect quality.
Calming Purple Strength Guide
Here's how much CBD you get per ounce of balm:
- 500mg, 1oz jar (500mg per oz): first-time users and small areas
- 500mg, 4oz jar (125mg per oz): gentle, everyday use over larger areas
- 1000mg, 1oz jar (1000mg per oz): regular use on focused areas
- 1000mg, 4oz jar (250mg per oz): everyday use with room to cover more skin
Tip: Higher CBD per ounce means more CBD in each scoop. If you use balm daily on large areas, a 4oz jar lasts longer.
