March 11, 2024: The Attorney General weighs in on delta-8. Attorney General Kris Mayes issued an opinion (I24-005) on hemp-derived intoxicants:

CBD isn't affected. The opinion states that it doesn't apply to products generally understood to be non-intoxicating, such as CBD.
December 11, 2026: Federal changes are coming. Congress has passed a new federal definition of hemp that limits finished products to 0.4 mg of total THC per container.
